What is Neck Contouring Surgery?

Because TL Power V liposuction removes excess fat, but cannot significantly improve sagging skin, the typical neck liposuction patient will be younger, his his or her 20’s through early 50’s, as younger patients typically have good skin elasticity, which is necessary for the skin to contract smoothly and evenly after liposuction. For most patients, TL power v neck liposuction is a fairly quick procedure, and many times it can be performed using local anesthesia. Through 3 or 5 tiny incisions, concealed beneath the chin or underneath the ears and next to mouth, Dr Jung YeonHo insert a small liposuction cannula, removing excess fat and sculpting a natural contour to the chin and neck. Following the procedure, patients typically wear a special supportive chin strap for 1 day and recommended to wear compressive facial bandage for 2~3 months during the day time as much as possible. Also patients may return to work within 1 week, and be ready to return to full activity after about 2 weeks. It is typical to experience some swelling and bruising after neck liposuction; this should resolve during the first 10 to 14 days after surgery.

Thread lifting is a procedure that works to tackle sags and folds. The procedure is becoming more popular than ever before as demand grows for skin care where less is more.

THREAD-LIFTING – WHAT’S INVOLVED

There are three different procedures known generally as: surgical thread lifting, non-surgical threat lifting.

While all treatments are used mainly for the face, they can sometimes be applied on the neck, cleavage and even body areas too.

All three procedures will stimulate the production of collagen (the protein that gives our skin its youthful appearance), restoring firmness.

This means beauty laser treatment (sonoqueen, alma laser), which do not lift, can result in a subtle increase in firmness in patients aged 20, 30 to 40, the result of the skin’s condition improving.

All types of threads will tighten the surrounding tissues and increase blood supply which in turn can lead to healthier, firmer skin.

NON-SURGICAL THREAD-LIFTING

Non-surgical threads are the middle way. The discreet and subtle option best suited for 35 to 55-year-olds, they rev up collagen production, are less radical than the surgical option, but do have lifting benefits significant enough to make a noticeable difference.

Again it is highly advisable the procedure is completed by a cosmetic surgeon, aesthetic doctor or qualified medical practitioner.
